Now, I do realise that boiling eggs and toasting bread is hardly difficult, but getting that yolk to remain runny while the egg white is fully set is actually not that easy. There are timings people will tell you, to get the perfect egg, but a lot of that depends on the temperature of the egg, how many are in the pan, whether the water is boiling rapidly, etc.
I have a foolproof way of getting perfect eggs every time, and in the interests of full disclosure, I am NOT being sponsored or paid in any way for this recommendation, neither does the company know I am recommending their product - but here it is, the egg timer. I have been using mine for 12 years and only now is it starting to reach the end of its life. You simply plop the "egg" into your saucepan with the other eggs and when the dark part reaches the medium line, then your white will be set and your egg yolk runny - regardless of the variables involved.
